EASTER WEEK IN PORTUGAL (1982-2004)
Terré continued photographing religious rituals in Galicia from 1960 onwards, after moving there to live. From 1982, he photographed the processions of northern Portugal, where he found the authenticity he felt was missing in Spain.
In 2001, he travelled to Zamora, drawn by the fame of the city's processions. Using photographs from the Good Friday procession, he composed a series focusing on the graphics of the crosses.
